Dear Church family,

As you know, this last school year had its unique pandemic challenges for CPS students across Chicago. Nevertheless, our group at R City Print Shop stuck tight and ventured into exciting creative projects as we completed our first large-scale public mural, sketched nature at the Morton Arboretum, printed T-Shirts for organizations such as Re:work Training and more. 

Every Semester we also aim to schedule a pop-up shop to sell custom designs our students have been working on. As this one ends we decided to merge our pop-up shop with R City’s Cameron Elementary School graduation day celebration at River City Church on Friday June 18th from 10am-12pm, making this day extra special. 

Among older designs and some hand-painted clothing, we will be featuring a remixed BLM shirt from an older design (made by our student, Kiaree) and a “Beast” face design (made by Joseph). Some printed pieces even feature additional hand-painted color. Come check out our celebration and grab a snow-cone while you’re there!
