As a continuation of the great discussion we had post-election, we will dive deeper into what Jesus meant when he said to "Turn the other cheek."

Why should we be hit a second time and how does this strategy work against systemic violence?

Our very own Krista Dutt will share a presentation on Walter Wink's research on Matthew 5:38-41 and lead us in a discussion on what other similar passages say about systemic injustice, personal responsibility, and speaking up.

We will also provide updates and continue our advocacy work in support of Treatment, not Trauma and Just Cause for Eviction. See you next Sunday on Zoom!
