RR invites you to our monthly meeting in-person or via Zoom immediately following Sunday's service. Our special guest presenters are Breakthrough Urban Ministries' Violence Prevention Initiative team: Damen Morris, Senior Director and Tashee Poplous Associate Director. We'll explore their model on Communities Partnering 4 Peace (CP4P). It features fourteen of Chicago’s leading outreach organizations who have combined their expertise to impact twenty-two Chicago communities most affected by gun violence. CP4P, convened by Metropolitan Family Services, is a framework that provides a comprehensive approach to reducing violence. The work is rooted in nonviolence, trauma-informed care, hyper-local collaboration and restorative justice practices.
